A beery twist on a classic drink developed by Sharp's beer sommelier, Ed Hughes. The sweetness of the malt from the Doom Bar balances the acidity from the lime and heightens the molasses and caramel in the rum. Find the recipe below.

  • 50ml golden rum
  • 25ml lime juice
  • 15ml sugar syrup
  • 35ml Doom Bar
  • Slice of lime
  1. Put all ingredients into a shaker with ice
  2. Shake hard for 10-12 seconds
  3. Strain, pour into goblet or Martini glass
  4. Garnish with a slice of lime
