After much discussion internally, we have made the difficult decision to not be attending the Royal Cornwall Show this year.

The pandemic has hit our industry hard over the last two years and this decision is based on the need for us to focus our resource and budgets on supporting our employees, our brands and our customers’ outlets first.

Over the years we’ve effectively been running a busy pub at the show, staffed by our own brewery team, and have greatly enjoyed being a meeting place for many of our customers and friends, old and new. To provide our award-winning stand each year, however, takes an enormous amount of resource and it is simply too early in our Covid recovery to be able to do this in 2022. Our brands will be available in the members tent and from our pourage truck nearby, so we hope you will continue to enjoy a pint of Sharp’s at the show and show support for Cornish pubs throughout the year.
