Sharp's was the winner of the 2006 Devon and Cornwall Business Challenge Award for creating wealth in the rural community. The Award recognises rural businesses that are making outstanding contributions to their local communities.

The RNLI is Sharp's official charity and it is no wonder as our Brewery is just a quarter of a mile from the Atlantic. We raise about Ł15,000 per year for this worthy cause. Around the coast of Britain and Ireland brave men and women respond to the “shout” and go out in stormy seas to help those in danger. Every time you buy a pint of Atlantic IPA a contribution is made directly to the RNLI.
