Orchard cider is launched
Another great business partnership has been born with the launch of Orchard Cider. The product is the result of a joint collaboration between Sharp's Brewery and Cornish Orchard.
Sharp's Director Joe Keohane met Andy Atkinson from Cornish Orchard for the first time at a Friends of Eden event last year. By the end of the evening both were convinced that a clear opportunity existed for a quality Cornish kegged cider.
Both Sharp's and Cornish Orchard share a common philosophy on ingredient quality. Cider should be made from local cider apples and not imported apple concentrate. likewise cask beer should be brewed using British malted barley and hop flowers and not with corn syrup, artificial hop essence and flavour enhancers.
Orchard is available in almost thirty quality outlets across Cornwall and Devon.
