Competition Terms

  1. You may enter the draw via mobile phone or e-mail.
  2. No third party or bulk e-mail entries.
  3. To enter the draw by text (SMS) send ‘Doom’ followed by your answer A, B or C to 60006 together with your name.
  4. To enter via e-mail, send the word ‘Doom’ and your answer A, B or C together with your name to competitions@sharpsbrewery.co.uk. Entries will only be accepted from 09/11/09 onwards.
  5. Promotion open to UK residents only, excluding employees and their families of Sharps Brewery, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
  6. Prize fund consists of 5 x pairs of tickets to Barbarians v All Blacks rugby match at Twickenham on Saturday 5th December 2009. No alternative prizes are available.
  7. All text entries will be charged at your standard network rate. All SMS messages received from Sharps Brewery or their agents are free.
  8. There will be one prize draw, on 27th November 2009. The draw will identify the winners of 5 pairs of tickets for the Barbarians v All Blacks game. Entries for these draws must be received by 23:59 on the preceding day. All entries will be entered into the draw following entry date.
  9. All entries after 26/11/09 will be declined.
  10. The draw will be made at random under independent supervision. All winners will be notified by telephone on the number provided in their entry within 2 days of the date the winners are drawn. The winners will have 4 days from the initial contact to respond to the promoter.
  11. The promoter reserves the right to re-draw the prizes if any of the prize-winners cannot be contacted within 4 days of the draw.
  12. Sharps Brewery does not accept responsibility for text or e-mail entries not received. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Illegible, incomplete or altered entries will be disqualified.
  13. The promoter is not liable for non or late receipt of text messages due to operator or network error.
  14. For text (SMS) entries, permission must be obtained from the bill payer before a text (SMS) is sent.
  15. Entrants must be over the age of 18 years.
  16. No purchase necessary e-mail entries will be accepted.
  17. Sharps Brewery cannot accept entries via post, however will acknowledge receipt of entries submitted via SMS message and the Sharps Brewery competition e-mail.
  18. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. For a list of winners, please send an S.A.E. marked ‘Rugby Competition’ to Sharps Brewery, Rock, Cornwall, PL27 6NU.
  20. Acceptance of these terms and conditions and promotional instructions is a condition of entry. Make note of these terms and conditions for future reference. In administering this promotion, Sharps Brewery will not collect more of your personal information than absolutely necessary.
